The HTTA Intern Program
Real work. Real mentorship. A real career on-ramp.
How it works
Apply to the pool · $50
Get matched · 50 hours
Earn Core Atlas + next cohort
Become an Intern
This is a paid internship program for Travelmation agents. You apply to a pool — not to a specific match. Sponsor Agents (experienced Travelmation agents) browse the pool and pick the interns they want. Kris also picks her own interns from this same pool for direct work on social, admin, and ongoing projects.
What you get: a spot in the next cohort and Core access to Atlas for the duration of your internship, in exchange for 50 hours of work for your sponsor agent.
How it works
Pay $50 and apply
Your application goes into the pool — the fee is your skin in the game.
Sponsors browse the pool
Sponsor Agents and Kris reach out to interview people whose profiles fit what they need.
Get matched — 50 hours
Commit 50 hours to your sponsor agent (timeframe is yours to set together). In exchange: next cohort + Core Atlas access.
Who this is for
Travelmation agents, newer or experienced. You must be an active Travelmation agent to apply. You don't need experience with Kris's class or a portfolio. You need to want this — and to show up when matched.
Why there's a fee
Because the people who fill out free forms aren't always the people who show up. The $50 isn't a money play — it's a sorting mechanism. If you're matched, the $50 was for being in the pool. You can stay in the pool until you're matched.
Ready?
Click below to pay your $50 — an application will be emailed to you. Fill it out and send a resume, a video, your social handles — whatever shows a sponsor agent what you can do. Open to Travelmation agents only at this time.
Sponsor an Intern
Want help in your business? Sponsor an intern from the pool.
As a Sponsor Agent, you browse the current pool of applicants and choose the intern you want. Here's the deal:
- •You pay $450. This covers a spot in the next cohort and Core Atlas access — for both you and your intern, for the duration.
- •Your intern works 50 hours for you. You decide together how long that takes. They help with whatever you need — admin, research, marketing, client communication.
- •You provide 1 hour of mentoring per week for the life of the agreement — teaching, instruction, help with their book of business.
- •You run your own contract. Kris sends you a sample contract; you're responsible for executing and managing it.
- •You track the 50 hours. Part of this program is learning to manage an assistant.
- •What happens after the 50 hours is up to you and your intern. Many interns stay on as paid assistants — that next arrangement is entirely between the two of you.
